Snore Spray
Before you choose a snore spray, you need to know what is causing the snoring.
Read about the causes of snoring and try to make some observations about where your snoring comes from. You may need someone to "watch and listen".
You spritz a snore spray towards the back of the throat before sleep. They work by coating and toning the throat's soft tissues to prevent snoring. Snoring sprays also tighten the tissues around the soft palate and subsequently reduce the soft palate vibration that causes palate-related snoring. The sprays are normally effective for around 8 hours. Some snoring sprays may also improve the symptoms of environmental allergies such as house dust, hay fever and pet hair allergies.
Anti Snore
Snore sprays will not necessarily work while other lifestyle habits persist, such as heavy smoking, regular alcohol and sleeping pill use. Moderate exercise is also recommended to keep yourself fit and to stop snoring.
Sprays are not considered an effective snoring treatment by medical specialists; however, they are unlikely to cause harm and are relatively inexpensive. You may want to test for yourself.
It is certainly highly recommended to consult your doctor if you are a patient suffering from real or potential sleep apnea.
If you feel any irritation or other discomfort, you should discontinue its use and perhaps see a doctor.
Other snoring remedies involving lifestyle changes may be more helpful in relieving your snoring cause. Ultimately the only way you can know its effectiveness, is to try a snore spray.
