Herbs For Snoring
There are many excellent herbs for snoring. Most of these herbs act as a health support, while deeper changes can be made to eliminate snoring.
Many plants have been used to treat snoring. Ginger, for example, increases the secretion of saliva, which soothes the throat. When mixed with honey, ginger is an excellent lubricant for the throat and can also help treat cold symptoms, in addition to snoring.
Plant-based therapeutic products are also as snore sprays, that open the airway to facilitate the flow of air.
Within the Ayurvedic system, gargling with sage water is suggested before going to bed to reduce snoring. You make this by placing a bunch of sage in boiled water and letting it cool before drinking.
Other herbs for snoring include drinking two or three sips of olive oil before bed. It will noticeably reduce the noise.
You can also try drinking eucalyptus tea for snoring. Dip two teaspoons of eucalyptus leaves in a cup of boiled water, drain and then sip.
These measures are likely to help nasal congestion, if that is the source of your snoring, however, if your snoring is due to loose throat tissues, you will need to address at least one underlying snoring cause. Herbs for snoring are not likely to be the best way to stop snoring.
